Alan Corry

Alan has been involved in single adult ministry since 1988. He has served on Church staff as a Singles Pastor in small, medium and metro size churches. Most recently he served as the Single Adult Ministry Specialist for LifeWay Church Resources until God provided the opportunity for him to become the Founder of singleadultministry.com. and Managing Editor of Living Solo Magazine.  Alan currently also serves on church staff at Oak Valley Baptist Church - Franklin, TN as the Minister of Education.

His passion for single adult ministry comes from his ministry calling and his personal life experiences. Alan was a child in a single-parent home when he lost his mother to leukemia at age eleven. As an adult, both Alan and his wife, were married in their early thirties. Alan’s desire is to encourage, equip, and empower singles and church leaders for single adult ministry.  He has a strong belief that God is going to use single adults to minister to others and reach the world with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

Alan is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, having earned MA degrees in marriage and family counseling and religious education. He has been a licensed marriage and family therapist.  He is Charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). Alan has served as the Executive Director of the National Association of Single Adult Ministers (NASAM) and on the Board of Directors for the Center for Single-Parent Family Ministry.

Carla Corry

Carla Corry is an independent consultant.  Her main responsibilities will be to assist with singleadultministry.com sponsored Singles Seminars at Sea™ (cruises for Christian single adults).  Carla has years of experience in the travel industry - having worked for American Airlines for 18 years.  She started her career in Reservations and Group & Convention Sales.  Then she transferred to the Airport and worked as a Passenger Service Agent at the ticket counter and gates for nearly 10 years.   Now working as a Cruise Specialist for CruiseOne Inc. - Jeff Olsson and Associates in Franklin, TN - Carla brings to singleadultministry.com her vast experience - - both in the travel industry as an employee and a seasoned traveler.  Carla can assist you with reservations for any singleadultministry.com sponsored cruise and she can also help you with your personal cruise vacations.
